How a dispenser box is built

A tuck-end carton with a perforated window on the front. Tearing along the perforation opens a dispensing slot while the rest of the carton keeps its shape.

Putting it together

  1. 1Square the carton and close the bottom tuck.
  2. 2Load the product and close the top tuck.
  3. 3The customer tears out the perforated window to dispense.

Measuring for this style

Length (L)
The inside width of the front panel, left to right.
Width (W)
The inside depth from front to back: the width of a side panel.
Height (H)
The inside height from the base to the top opening.

All sizes are inside dimensions. Add 1 to 2 mm of clearance around the product. How to measure

When to choose it

For tissues, gloves, sachets and tea bags. For bulk retail dispensing choose a gravity-feed box.

Before you print

  • Perforation strength is a balance: too weak and it tears in transit, too strong and it will not open cleanly.
  • Keep the window at least 10 mm from every crease.
