From product to packaging
A better fit starts here.
Start with your product. We help you shape the structure around it, then hand you a file your printer can use.
- 01
Choose your box style
Start with a structure that suits your product. Search by product, like bottles or candles, or browse by category.
- 02
Make it your size
Enter the inside length, width and height in millimetres, centimetres or inches, and choose the board. The dieline redraws as you type.
- 03
Review. Export. Create.
Check the flat dieline and the folded 3D box, then download PDF, SVG, DXF, PNG or JPG for your printer.
Measuring
Measure the product, not a guess.
Length is the front panel width. Width is the side panel depth. Height runs from the base to the top. Measure the widest points, including caps, pumps and handles, then add 1 to 2 mm of clearance for rigid products.
The studio uses inside dimensions and adds board thickness for you. Your manufacturer still checks the final fit, grain and tolerances.

After you export
From file to finished box
1Add your artwork
Open the PDF or SVG in Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape or Figma and place artwork on a layer above the dieline.
2Print a prototype
Print the PDF at 100 % on card, cut and fold it around your product to check the fit.
3Send it to your printer
Share the PDF with any packaging printer, or request a quote from us with the style and size filled in.
Questions
Dieline generator FAQs
Is the PW Studio dieline generator free?
Yes. Designing boxes, viewing them in 3D and exporting files from studio-ready styles are free. An account is optional and only needed to save boxes across devices.
Do I need design experience?
No. Choose a style, type your product size and the dieline redraws. A designer or printer can then add artwork to the file.
Which files can I download?
PDF, SVG and DXF for printing and cutting, and PNG, JPG, WebP or TIFF images for proofs and sharing.
What is the difference between studio-ready and guide styles?
Studio-ready styles are built by the production engine with board allowances and export cutting files. Guide styles are drawn to your size for planning; request the production dieline before printing.
