How a two-piece rigid box is built
A rigid base tray and a separate lid tray, each made from greyboard and wrapped in printed paper. The lid slips over the base for a classic gift box.
Putting it together

For premium gifts, watches and apparel. For a revealed inner collar choose a shoulder and neck box.
Before you print
- Rigid boxes are made from 1.5 to 3 mm greyboard wrapped in printed paper; they do not fold flat after making.
- Wraps need about 15 to 20 mm turn-in over the edges; supply artwork with that margin.
- Lead times are longer than folding cartons because wrapping is partly manual.
